This is a good tool to date. It has the usual features like a two speed switch and ratcheting torque limiter.

The price is good and it works well Drill.

The 1/2 inch chuck is a good feature to fit large bits.

The battery fits a lot of other awesome tools by the same brand.

Replacement for a very large an battery obsolete drive I bought 20 plus years ago.
Small and powerful and will last me for life. The technology of Craftman tools for home work projects is perfect for my needs, as has been for 50 plus years. Buy it and simplify life.

CRAFTSMAN V20 Cordless Drill/Driver Kit

for the price this is a great driller for young homeowners. A drill is a must have if you own a home and this is a perfect choice. Not as expensive as some of the top brands but comes from a quality manufacture and its reliable without breaking the bank. I’ve had this drill for over a year now and I am very impressed. It is rugged, lightweight (for me anyway), and very easy to use, whether you need to switch out the bit or adjust the drill settings. The battery lasts a very long time as well! I was so impressed that I recently purchased a Craftsman battery-powered sander, (which is slated for an after Christmas project). I would highly recommend this product. it’s a good drill, torquey. I have only 2 complaints about it. the chuck is plastic. so it’s easy to mar the chuck when in a tight space. not really a big deal, but having it metal would have been nice. battery was meh, and it only comes with one. so I got a second battery, an aftermarket one that’s larger in capacity. that way I’m never left with a dead drill, could use one while the other charges.

functionally, CRAFTSMAN V20 Cordless Drill/Driver Kit it’s great. I’m a typical DIY home user, maybe a bit harder on drills than other DIY-ers. it’s holding up great. on a scale of quality, it’s not as good as a dewalt drill, but better than harbor freight. a solid middle of the road drill.
