The most important part of this hand pump is the piston. Our custom piston features a Buna-N rubber seal that is much more abrasion resistant and long lasting than traditional o-ring seals. This allows for maximized longevity and efficiency. Built into the piston is a custom PTFE ball check valve. This creates an efficient seal, all at the same time as allowing a high flow rate through the piston.
The foot valves feature a Buna-S rubber poppet designed to open easily and to be more durable than traditional O-rings. The unique strainer consists of a helically wound stainless steel spring wire which is durable and cannot corrode. All valves are 100% American-Made and built to last.
Required Tools: PVC glue/cement, pipe cutters or a hand saw, and a drill with a 1/16” drill bit and 1-3/8” metal hole saw. You’re going to also need to purchase some thin wall PVC pipe in the length that is needed to reach the static water level in your well. We don’t ship piping along with the kit because shipping costs would be very expensive. It is much cheaper for you to purchase the piping at your local hardware or plumbing store.
Easy installation: We have designed the installation to be as easy as imaginable. Very few tools and supplies are necessary. All of our kits come with a detailed guide on the installation process for the hand pump.
