Stool with Spiral Pattern Design

The gray metallic vanity chair has good quality, color and great value. It is exactly what I was looking for to replace the vanity chair in my master bathroom. Thank you. I bought this as a Valentines Day gift for my wife and she loves it. I came packed so well it took me almost as much time to unpack it as it did to assemble. I say that as a complement not criticism. I inspected each piece very carefully before assembly. The finish for any blemishes or flaws, and the seat for any loose material or threads and found it to be perfect and free of any defects. Assembly was very easy. All of the 1-star reviews were based on the assembly of it. Either screws not being the proper size for the screw holes, or holes of two parts not lining up for the screw. I took them as lack construction skills. A solution to all of the assembly problems can be avoided by inserting the screws until they are snug, then backing the screw out 1/4 to 1/2 turn so the to parts are held in place, but still loose enough for slight movement, allowing for alignment for the rest of the holes for screw insertion. Once all of the screws are in place, they can be tightened. Once they are, you have a very sturdy metal frame stool, with a very soft cushy for your tushy. This is a very high quality stool, made and packaged with care and quality control. I would say I would buy it again, but with proper care taken to prolong the life of the cushion, the one I bought should never need to be replaced Stool with Spiral Pattern Design.

It seems to be well made, is attractive and most of all it is very sturdy and well made. Instructions for assembly are included but I think most won’t need them. Well satisfied Hillsdale O’Malley Vanity Stool.

UPDATE: It seems one of the support legs broke at the welded point several months after purchase.
I contacted the company and with a little required information they sent me another brand spanking new chair at no charge. Also said just keep the original one and any left over parts.
