  • If you’re ordering this for sun protection while working out in hot, humid conditions, as I was, you may be disappointed. The cotton in the blend makes it pretty hot and sticky, though the fabric is thin and silky. The fit is beautiful, though, and I bought more in different colors for when the weather cools. I love the fit and fabric of this hoodie. It’s breathable and comfortable up to about 80F, and the color is beautiful. I’ve got a few of the polyester knit sun hoodies, and this one is much better. Needed a comfy Sun shirt for hiking out west and this didn’t disappoint. It’s extremely soft and light, yet offers the protection I need. The fit was good. I am 5’8″ and usually wear an xtra large. There was plenty of room; loved the lavendar color and it washed well although I hung it to dry. I recommend this product. Had to start wearing SPF50+ shirts in our intense sun for yard work & my skin…so glad I found these! (I bought 2) Pricey- but they work nicely! Love the thumb “hold” slots- keeps the backs of my hands covered with or without gloves! Bought a size up for a loose fit & the material does not stick to my skin when I work up a sweat.
    Tip: you can get shirt wet, wring it out, then put it on for cooling at every breeze. This is exactly what I needed for sun protection. I have a bit of a sun sensitivity because of medications, and I am allergic to most sun screens so I need to stay covered up when I am out walking the dog netdraw Women’s Ultra-Soft Bamboo.

    The fit was good. I am 5 ft 5 in and weigh around 175 pounds and I have more than the average amount of muscle in the arms and shoulders for a woman because I strength train. The XL was a decent fit without being too tight.

    The fabric is soft and feels cool. I didn’t notice much shrinkage after I washed and dried it. This hoodie definitely protected me from the sun, and I didn’t feel uncomfortable wearing long sleeves or a hood on a warm day netdraw Women’s Ultra-Soft Bamboo.
