It is a nice looking speaker with great stage presence. However the system has several serious issues. I use it for karaoke and as a guitar amplifier. The sound quality is only mediocre even with adjusting the tone controls. Lacks crisp mid-range frequencies and the lower bass notes are not strong as expected with dual sub woofers. Upon power-on the unit makes a very irritating sound that cannot be avoided. The wireless mics are muddy sounding compared to my regular wired microphone. There is a sound port on the back that is large and open to dirt and foreign objects which in time I’d guess will cause internal damage. The port should be covered with a screen like the front grill or closed off entirely if it does not affect sound. The speaker puts out lots of sound for a small inside room, but compared to my other powered speakers I’d estimate the output power is likely about 10 to 15 RMS Watts … Not the 150 Watts advertised. If used as a guitar amplifier with a band on stage, the speaker does not have the power to be heard over the other performers.
Knowing what is now known, I’d would not have purchased this unit. I am considering returning it if I can find a better replacement Portable Karaoke Machine for Adults Kids.
