These brushes are very soft and seem to hold up well. The heads are very small and make it take longer to brush my pup’s whole mouth. My pup is 17lbs. These are a fantastic size for cats. Wow. The heads on these toothbrushes is the perfect size to get her back teeth without being uncomfortable for her. The bristles are really soft so they’re not scratchy on her gums. The heads are small but still hold the perfect amount of her toothpaste to get her teeth clean. These brushes are pretty durable too! That’s impressive because she is a heavy chewer. This set includes two toothbrushes and a finger brush, as well as a whiteness chart to follow progress. I have been brushing my dogs’ teeth for a long time, although I admit not as consistently as I should. We started with finger brushing to get them used to the process and we have been using children’s brushes for some time now. The handles of these are curved and slim so they are ergonomically suited to the job. The brush is only about 1/2 inch in diameter, which is very small. I use children’s brushes for general brushing and probably will continue to do so in the interest of time, supplementing with these tiny brushes for specific problem areas. The brushes themselves are very soft and some bristles are already bending after just one use, so I will have to see how well they hold up.
I find this to be a good set for the price. It would be a nice way to introduce brushing to your pet, using the fingertip brush and transitioning to the regular brush over time. If your pet has a small mouth or you need to address individual teeth, these brushes are definitely the way to go.
